What does the Community Development Service provide?
We:

• Consult with communities about local health and social care needs.
• Provide advice and support on getting started as a new group/organisation e.g. constitutions & charitable status.
• Help groups and communities to carry out community research and consultation with stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with others to meet gaps in services.
• Provide advice and support on sources of funding.
• Enable people from different agencies and sectors to develop links.
• Help develop new services.

Who can use the service?
Any individual, community group or voluntary organisation who is based or operates within South Derbyshire.

When does it run?
Information is available Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm. Appointments can be arranged at other times.

Where does it operate?
The Community Development Service is based at 48 Grove Street, Swadlincote but is committed to serving the whole of South Derbyshire.

How much will it cost?
Nothing, all information, advice and support is free.
