Self Help Support Service

What does the Self Help Support Service provide?
We offer a wide range of services to help and support Self Help Groups in the area.
We can help with:

Setting up new groups.
Supporting existing groups.

By:

Providing information and support to groups.
Small grant fund for new and existing groups.
Accessing other sources of funding.
Setting up committees and offering appropriate training.
Providing practical services such as photocopying or access to computers and the internet.
Referral of individuals to groups and other services.

Who can use the service?
Any group providing support to people living in South Derbyshire or any individual living in the area.

When does it run?
Information is available Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm. Individual appointments will be arranged

Where does it operate?
Self Help Support is based at CVS but we are committed to providing opportunities for everyone in South Derbyshire. Visits can be arranged throughout the area.

How much will it cost?
Nothing. A small charge may be made for training and administration services.
