
What does the Travelling Lunch Club provide?
The Travelling Lunch Club offers a chance to socialise with friends old and new by providing a trip out and lunch at a different venue each month.
Who can use the service?
Any person over the age of 55, who may feel lonely or isolated.
When does it run?
The club currently meets on a monthly basis.
Where does it operate?
Members are picked up and dropped off at a convenient point, near to their home at a prearranged time. The lunch itself is usually at a venue in or around South Derbyshire.
How much will it cost?
The annual registration fee to become a Travelling Lunch Club Member is £5.00. The cost for a meal and transport is £10.00 approximately.
